Anyone can read books at their local library, but did you ever expect to play games there?
The American Library Association has announced that, during National Library Week, they would host gaming programs and events on April 18, 2008 as part of a celebration entitled "gaming@your library".
Soon, public libraries will be hostig videogame tournaments and gaming clubs. Dance Dance Revolution, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band are among the titles chosen (sorry, no sign of Halo or Call of Duty 4). Different types of programs will be offered at participating branches, with some even extending to seniors.
Maybe all this talk of literary videogames isn't crazy talk after all.
