Omegathon Round 1: I hope you didn't bet money on me
Jenga has very little skill. Yes, you can have a steadiest hand in the world, but if you draw the short straw and end up being "that guy" who has to take a turn when the tower is going to fall, you're screwed. I was the one that spent a good ten minutes hoping to find the block that magically became loose and then knocked the tower over. At least I wasn't in the last group; their game took an hour and a half. Ours was over in a quick 30 minutes.
I'm out round one, but I can now support my competition rather than hope they lose. I think it's actually better this way, as I'll have a less stressful weekend, while still maintaining the perks of being an Omeganaut (cutting lines is awesome!). Jenga, by far, was the most stress I've ever felt. It was fun while it lasted, and my only regret is not knocking the tower down with a mighty punch instead.
Tomorrow's competition kicks off with Calling All Cars. My hope is in my new friend Tony_B. Hopefully he does well.
