Ubisoft has confirmed Free Radical's HAZE will be PS3 only!  Quietly discussed at Leipzig and confirmed by Gamespot - this is a turn of the tables for Microsoft - and something Sony needs more of!

To be clear - Ubisoft stopped short of using the E word when asked to clarify by Gamespot.  After stating that only the PS3 version is 'in development' an official spokesman added:
"The official statement on PC and Xbox 360 is that these platforms are not confirmed." 

Whatever you want to call it, Sony needs more of it - that's right - Exclusives!  They're mentality to date has been 'we aren't going to pay for exclusive titles', as paraphrased by Jack Tretton. And well, in this case, they didn't have to!   Ubisoft apparently pulled the plug on the Xbox 360 and PC versions for unknown reasons - though PS3 Fanboy speculates, and we concur, that it may very well have been development limitations that sparked the move.

We've sent a note on over to Dave Doak and await an official response.  We'll update as we can. Meanwhile, get ready to fire up those PS3s and snicker at your X360 owning friends.  OK, I'm exaggerating a bit I know - but it's not often  (to date) that you'll get to do this
