Everyone and their Nanny stayed home today to get their mitts in the
Call of Duty 4 cookie jar at 12pm PST on the
CharlieOscarDelta.com website - only problem was - it wasn't there! Oops!
In the post on
402's blogspot..er...blog...he addresses the angered crowds and assure us the First Come, First Serve approach will be tossed out in favor of respecting the folks who've spent the last six months bringing the CoD4 forums to life.
Don't expect premium seats just cause you posted once per hour though:
NO MORE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. We will be taking care of the guys who've spent the last 6 months on the site, reading all of our updates, participating in our forums, and staying home all day today refreshing the site to get a token.
UPDATE: That doesn't mean post count, join date, or rank effect your chances for good or bad, it just means everyone will have an equal chance regardless of the site errors.
YOU WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF, and we will make sure that everyone has an equal chance to get into the beta
REGARDLESS of depending on the the site.
Shite happens ladies and gentlemen - especially on beta release of a title as hot as
CoD4. Gotta respect the way the
Inifinity Warden's and
Activisionists are handling the fallout!
Now - where'd I put that BETA key...
