Shinku-HADOKEN! That's a familiar sound for anyone that grew up in the early-mid 90's, and today the sequel to Capcom's super popular fighting farnchise Street Fighter IV was revealed to the internet by the boys over at Ziff Davis Media, as part of an excellent 1up Show exclusive.
If you haven't heard, the sequel was originally revealed at Capcom Gamers Day in London back in October. Following an excluisve spread in the January issue of EGM, the first footage of the game is now live at Gamevideos.com and 1up. It should be noted that a number of details - playabe characters and which platform it will appear on specifically - are still scarce t the moment, but to be fair the game is about 2% finished. That little detail hasn't stopped a number of misplaced reactions by series fans who aren't happy with the current art direction.
Regardless of what you might think of Street Fighter IV's current state, you should definitely check it out and drop us some of your opinions like a swift hurricane kick while you're at it.
