The Locust Horde gear up to lay waste to PC hard drives the world over with the release to retail of Gears of War PC.  Our initial verdict?  It's worth it for the LIVE experience on PC alone!

The rest is icing on the cake.  Yeah, the game looks great, the added content rocks - nyah, nyah, PC gaming is not dead!  However, I found one of the coolest aspects being the integration with the LIVE community.  It was a treat to tap out messages to my friends on a  real keyboard and watching my gamerscore rise while playing on the PC feels oh so satisfying.

If you've already played the X360 version and you're wondering if you should bother with the PC version - the answer is YES!  There's plenty here to make the purchase worthwhile including five new campaign chapters, three new exclusive multiplayer maps and a "King of the Hill" gametype are just a few of the nice touches the folks at Epic have rewarded us with after the long, long wait.  Look for our full review soon!
