PS3 to Support PSone and PS2 Downloads?font>

The dedication to backwards compatibility has been a winner for the PS2 since before its launch. The PS3 is said to be compatible with both PS2 and PSone software. However, the fact that the Revolution will be able to download games from each console in Nintendo's history seems just a little bit sweeter, 'cause my-oh-my what a library that is. Sony, though, has never been a company to be outdone, and development sources close to Sony are hinting at a large distribution service for games allowing (perhaps) downloadable Playstation and Playstation 2 content.

What a war this will be.
