If IGN's insider is correct, we won't be seeing the next game in the lovable Halo franchise until March of '07. Theories for the delay include letting the third-party games have better sales during the 2006 holiday season (they won't have to compete with Halo) and to build anticipation during the PS3 and Revolution launches. If consumers know that Halo is coming they may reconsider buying one of the competitors' machines. I dunno. I guess that makes sense. My hunch is that the game won't be finished by fall, so they developed these other strategies/excuses. Yup.
