Microsoft Goes Handheld
The Origami Project is generating a lot of press today, and small wonder. Attempting to venture into the media market as well as the handheld game market, Microsoft is working on a project that is said to include music, games, internet access, picture editing and home computer control with a tablet PC-like touch screen. Dang. It seems to be more of a portable computer than a "handheld game system" though, that being supported by the estimated price tag of $500 to $800.
The video that was circulating online (that has since been removed) was showcasing Halo, though it has not been confirmed as a possibility for the system. More information is said to emerge Thursday, March 2. More then. Indeed.
