No Blu-Ray for Microsoft

Peter Moore stated earlier that there was a possibility that there would be an add on for the Xbox 360 that would enable the use of Blu-ray disks. Microsoft has now released a statement to clarify the issue. According to said statement, "Current reports indicating that we have a back-up plan, which includes Blu-Ray support are incorrect. At this point, we're fully committed to HD-DVD and have absolutely no plans to support other optical formats." I think that's clear enough. Whether or not this is a good idea, really remains to be seen.
