Nintendo Revolution Ready for Production
Maybe we'll see the Nintendo Revolution this sping after all? Japanese site Dengeki has mentioned that the system has gone gold/finished and ready for a May deployment. If this is true, it'd be a good thing for us gamers as it'd give the big N more than enough time to produce a decent number of units. Not having to relive the Xbox360 shortage craziness again would be most awesome. Nintendo themselves have yet to comment, but Dengeki has been a pretty reliable source, so maybe Nintendo will announce something soon. I wouldn't be too surprised if Nintendo pulls an Apple and puts the device for sale after their E3 keynote. Now that's playing with power…
Another story that came up last week was that the Revolution controller would work with the next Zelda game. While Zelda:Twilight Princess is being developed for the Gamecube, it's seems that Nintendo may be hinting that they're going to use this as a Revolution launch title as well. You can still play the game on your Gamecube, but the game'll be all the more special if ya stick it in your brand spankin' new Revolution. Ya never know what those Nintendo brains have up their sleeves. I just hope Zelda isn't the lone killer Revolution app as I'm hopin' for something a bit more, um, revolutionary. I dunno. Just hafta wait and see.
