NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona Reviews | PS2 GC

Believe it or not, NASCAR is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. Why this sport is growing is beyond me. Watching cars drive around in ovals isn't that much fun. At least there are car crashes to break-up the monotony. What is even more inexplicable is that NASCAR games are growing in popularity as well. Most of the games have been realistic simulations that appeal to the inner gearhead in all of us. Then NASCAR Heat came along and gave the sport more of an arcade treatment. The goal was to go fast and finish first at all costs. The folks that brought the heat have expanded beyond the Busch and Winston Cup Series to include more of the NASCAR experience. The result is NASCAR Dirt to Daytona (originally titled NASCAR Heat 2).
