One of the highlights of the Game Developer’s Conference is the Annual Game Developer’s Choice Awards – an awards show that recognizes some of the best games of the prior year.  But the winners here are selected by developers, and that’s not an easy task considering the amazing year 2007 was for games. 

The mobile gaming industry here in the US isn’t exactly what you’d call robust, but the iPhone represents a potentially huge boost to the market.

Although Jedi/Force powered action games have come and gone (with varying results), Star Wars: The Force Unleashed could be the first one to get it right with an interesting mix of physics-based technologies, over-the-top force powers, and big environments that do well to capture the epic scope and scale of the Star Wars universe.

Until the advent of Remote Play, PSP and PS3 never really did anything together.  That is until Sony unveiled the ability to transfer Blu Ray movies to their little handheld during CES 2008 in Las Vegas.

Skype, the internet based phone service, has been confirmed for the PSP by Sony today during the 2008 International CES 2008 in Vegas.
