The Soul Caliber IV team and Namco Bandai Games would like to welcome you to the stage of history.  And indeed history was made today as two of the hidden characters in the Soul Caliber roster were revealed to the world courtesy of 1up news.  Behold, Darth Vader and Yoda are set to appear on the new roster, with Vader exclusive to the PS3 and Yoda the Xbox 360.  It's mindboggling when, why, and how the heck this thing went down, but maybe it shouldn't be as surprising considering the last time Soul Caliber went multiplatform - when Link, Spawn, and that old guy from Tekken were included as exclusives for specific platforms.

It's an interesting proposition to see what effect these two will have on the game (especially since a lightsaber can cut through almost any weapon known to man -- we'd love to see the fanfic for this one), and in the end we'd love to hear what you think.  But seriously folks, they should ditch Yoda and license the Master Chief, complete with quick wielding Brute Hammer action.  True, it would probably feel just as bizarre, but they've suspended enough belief already.  Why not go for the gold?
